27 Mayıs sonrası kurulan Kurucu Meclis'in hazırladığı, halkoyuyla %61 oranında kabul edilen anayasa. Türkiye'nin en özgürlükçü anayasası kabul edilir: temel hak ve özgürlüklerin genişletilmesi, Anayasa Mahkemesi'nin kurulması, Senato'nun ihdası, sosyal devlet ilkesi. 12 Eylül 1980'e kadar yürürlükte kaldı.

Drafted by the Constituent Assembly after the 27 May coup and approved by 61% in a referendum. Widely regarded as Turkey's most liberal constitution: an expanded bill of rights, a constitutional court, a senate, and the principle of a social state. It remained in force until the 1980 coup.
